Overseas Student Policies and Procedures
Student Policy & Procedure Manual
Student Transfer Request Assessment Policy
Our Overseas Student Transfer Policy addresses two key scenarios:
a) Transfer requests before completing the first six months of their registered school sector course. b) Transfers after six months, with welfare responsibility held via a CAAW.
We're dedicated to ensuring smooth transitions for all students, providing comprehensive support every step of the way. Join us in a nurturing environment where students flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.
Welfare and Accomodation Policy
At Gold Coast Christian College, we take our registration obligations seriously, ensuring compliance with Commonwealth and state legislation regarding child welfare and protection for all overseas students under 18 years old. This includes providing age- and culturally-appropriate information on emergency contacts and reporting procedures for incidents involving abuse. We have documented procedures in place and will promptly address any concerns regarding the welfare of students under 18 years old, fostering a safe and supportive environment for all.
Course Progress & Attendance
Overseas students are required to meet and maintain satisfactory course progress and attendance requirements under visa condition 8202 and under Standard 8 of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.

Gold Coast Christian College warmly welcomes enrolment applications from students aspiring to pursue their education on a Student Visa.
